Raw food burger salad w/ tortilla strips

And it gets better, my home made raw food burgers make a great addition to my salad for today.

Sweet Mini Peppers
1 Each
Mushrooms, Whole
2/3 Cup
Salad, Herb Mix
2 Cups
Light Italian Salad Dressing
2 Tablespoons
Baby Carrots
1 Serving
Corn tortilla
1 Serving

Raw Food Burger:
    **Flax Seed, 16 tbsp
10 baby carrots raw, 1 serving
1 Med. Green Bell Pepper, 1 serving
Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
Sunflower Seeds, without salt, 2 cup, hulled

Blend Sunflower Seeds and Flax seeds (sperately) in a Food processor or coffee grinder

Once blended combine seeds in food processor

Course Chop 1 medium Bell pepper (green or red is fine), add to food processor

Add Baby Carrots and Water

Turn on food processor to mix, stopping to spatula down the sides from time to time. Pulse 3 times to finish

Should have a solid enough mixture to form (16 portions) by hand and set as many as you can on a Dehydrator. Cooking for about 10-14 hrs if set to lowest level (105*).

Serving Size: Makes 16 patties

Number of Servings: 16

WOW I'm such a slacker, I am promising to do better.

I will try to keep up with my diet postings.  Especially since I've made the decision to go FULLY RAW. Yes I said it Fully Raw.  I bawked at my husband when he originally brought this up last year, but after the first 2 weeks I had lost 5 lbs and it was fun.  However at this stage in my journey I have been exercising, but in logging my foods I've noticed I'm no where near the health wagon even though I'm a vegetarian I'm eating entirely TOO much processed foods.

This being said I declare today the start of my raw journey.  I'm going to start with Kristina's 21 day challenge.
